Dutch on the outside, Dominican on the inside is probably the best description of me!
Starting my tourism career as a multilingual guide in Amsterdam, I moved to the Dominican Republic in 1991 to improve my Spanish and fell completely in love with the island.
My experience in the hotel industry and aviation has given me extensive knowledge of the North Coast and the best opportunities for investing in the area. Speaking English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch also gives me the advantage of communicating with many property owners in their mother tongue.
I am the proud mother of a 23-year-old son, born on this island, who has grown into a true force within Colorful Casas, bringing his own energy, skills and ideas to the company.
Over my years on the island, I have built an extensive network of trusted professionals my clients can rely on.
During my time as a Rotarian, I was actively involved in community projects supporting those in need. Today, I continue to give back to the community through a foundation that assists young children at a school in Puerto Plata.
Gardening in my small tropical “jungle” is one of my passions, but cooking even more so.
As the only non-Latino participant, I was one of the finalists in the first edition of Dominican MasterChef.
I continued as a TV chef for a Dominican international TV channel and occasionally work as an actress in Hollywood productions filmed on the island.
As an extension of my work as a realtor, I write operational business plans for companies in the service industry.
And I promise you, if you buy a property with me, I will cook you dinner!
